Charade has been playing this game since the sixties: it looks like a children's print, and then you see it on a lacquered dining chair in a very serious apartment and realize it was never innocent at all. Pink, blue, and lavender dots on white — 52 inches wide, 3-inch vertical repeat, handprinted in the USA on Belgian linen that will outlast the joke. Two yards.
