Shinobi - PlayStation 2

Shinobi is a PlayStation 2 hack-and-slash action game starring Hotsuma, the last of the Oboro clan. The game sends him through demon-filled, post-apocalyptic Tokyo with fast sword combat, wall-running movement, and a cursed blade that demands constant action.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Chain attacks together to cut through groups of enemies and keep the pace moving between encounters.
• Wall running opens up routes through stages and allows access to hidden areas.
• Ninja Magic provides high-impact attacks for clearing dangerous situations.
• Stealth-dash movement creates ghost images that can confuse enemies during combat.
• Developed by Overworks, the game marked Shinobi’s jump into a 3D action format on PlayStation 2.

Hotsuma’s cursed sword mechanic gives the game a risk-reward structure built around aggressive play. The PlayStation 2 entry revived Sega’s Shinobi series with a darker Tokyo setting and acrobatic 3D combat.
